This program is possible thanks to a 2023 grant from the Barrington Junior Women's Club!

 

The SOUL Buddies Juniors program caters to Barrington School District 220 middle school students, 7th-8th grade, to introduce them to animal-assisted therapy and handling therapy dogs, mini therapy horses, mini therapy donkeys, mini pigs, and a rabbit.

We teach students how to safely and properly handle our therapy animals. We will also prepare them for more advanced training in the SOUL Buddies Animal Therapy Club, a sanctioned club at Barrington High School.
